Artists want to be seen, to be heard, to be listened too, because the role of the artist is to hold the mirror up to society and show humanity the truth of our actions, of our beauty, our cruelty, our absurd way of living behind a veil of ignorance. The artist can lift that veil for a fleeting moment and show the truth. ~Delia
